Restorative Dentistry
Not all teeth last forever. For teeth damaged or lost to trauma, decay or disease, we offer a variety of ways to restore the health and function of your smile, and we'll work with you on the best option.

One-visit CEREC crowns
Crowns can be made and cemented in one visit. With CEREC technology, we take digital pictures of the prepared tooth and make the crown with a CAD/CAM mill, then cement it into place. No temporary crowns and no bulky impressions.
Crowns
A crown caps or completely covers a tooth to restore its shape, size and strength, or to improve its appearance. Crowns are needed when a tooth is severely decayed or large old fillings have broken down.
Dental implants
Implants can replace one or more teeth, support a partial denture, or attach a full denture. They've become the most predictable way to restore missing teeth and are usually the treatment of choice.
Bridges
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by joining them permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. It's made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap, with a false tooth or teeth in between.
Dentures and partial dentures
Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, and partial dentures when some natural teeth remain. Both can be anchored by dental implants for added support and retention.
Root canals
A root canal repairs and saves a tooth that's badly decayed or infected. The nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. The tooth is usually restored with a crown afterward.
Tooth-colored fillings
Fillings restore decayed or broken teeth. We remove the decayed portion and replace it with a tooth-colored resin composite. West Prairie Dental does not offer amalgam, or metal, fillings.
New patients of any age are welcome.
